Happy birthday to all horses for January 1. But AQHA and APHA members with horses who turn 25 this year, don't forget that AQHA and APHA considers them "deceased" unless you let them know.

DECEMBER 28

Commencing in 2012, a national rule change will require all riders to wear helmets for all levels of Equine Canada sanctioned dressage competition.

Equine Canada and Dressage Canada are taking an industry-wide leadership role. Read the details here.

Remembering Rick Payne and his full, active life. Past President CEF (now Equine Canada), Founding Director of Manitoba Riding for the Disabled, past owner of Westgates Equestrian Centre and Westgates Horse & Country stores, tireless volunteer in support of the equine events at the Red River Ex.
